In only 3 days ServiceMaster Clean in Lemon Grove was able to restore the 750,000 sq. ft. and seven story sanctuary from a burnt smokey shell into a glistening clean and smokefree environment. Three weddings were saved. When the brides' long, white wedding dress trains traveled down the sanctuary’s red carpet, there was no hint of soot anywhere!

  Do's Don'ts
 
  • Cover carpeted traffic areas to prevent additional soiling.
  • If electrical service is off, clean out refrigerator and freezer.
  • Wipe the leaves of house plants to remove smoke residue.
  • Wipe residue from porcelain bath fixtures to prevent etching.
  • Do not attempt to wash walls or wallpaper.
  • Do not attempt to clean upholstered furniture
  • Do not use electrical appliances that were close to the fire.
  • Do not use ceiling fixtures.
  • Do not eat food that has been exposed to smoke.
  • Do not touch anything. Soot on hands can permeate causing further damage.
 


A curio cabinet and this family room must be emptied and damages assessed.
If items can be restored, then our crew will clean them. If not, and the items are totaled,
our Totaled Loss Coordinator will determine the value of each item and notify the adjuster.
